Internal Information System

At Soler & Palau Ventilation Group, we are committed to integrity, ethics, and transparency in all our operations and activities. We recognize the importance of maintaining a safe and ethical working environment for all our employees, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. In order to promote these values and ensure an effective mechanism for reporting irregularities, we have implemented an Internal Information System which integrates all the whistleblowing channels in a unique Internal Information System, ensuring that the reception and management of all the communications about potential infractions, are in compliance with the requirements of the EU Directive 2019/1937.

General Principles

The following principles will guide the operation and functioning of the Internal Information System and Whistleblower Channel:
- Confidentiality: All reports will be treated confidentially and disclosed only to individuals necessary for the investigation and resolution of the matter. Whistleblowers anonymity will be maintained upon request, to the extent permitted by law.
- Whistleblower Protection: Soler & Palau Ventilation Group is committed to protecting whistleblowers from retaliation or any adverse action as a result of their good-faith reporting. Retaliation in any form will not be tolerated.
- Impartial and Adequate Investigation: All reports will be investigated impartially and adequately by a designated team. Investigations will be conducted fairly and without prejudice.
- Presumption of innocence and right of defence of the affected parties
- Zero Tolerance for Retaliation: Any employee found to be retaliating against a whistleblower will face disciplinary action, including possible termination of employment.
- Clear and Accessible Communication: Soler & Palau Ventilation Group will provide clear and accessible information about the Whistleblower Channel, including how to make a report and what to expect after making a report.
